Yann Martel's novel as recently become a motion picture, directed by award winning director Ang Lee it is a visual masterpiece. It already been nominated for Best Picture in 70th Golden Globes and numerous other accolades such as Movie of the year from the AFI Awards. It also had some amazing reviews, having earned an 88% rating on popular movie site Rotten Tomatoes. Others had this to say:
